After Ryo feels better from that runt hospital thing, she learns a bit more about her dad. She’s proud, as well as thinking she’s also finally made friends with Izumi. That all breaks down as Hiroki’s birthday comes along. Izumi is inflamed with Ryo again, and now Ryo has to set up with that for four days in the mountains.
There’s also some bonds with the secondary characters. I contemplate that makes this DVD even more special, because the epic isn’t ONLY focusing on Ryo, Izumi, and Hiroki. It would be a complete scamper if all they did with the secondary characters was have them play baseball and join the team… *yawn*.
I’ve noticed every DVD of this series has it’s enjoy theme of animation… Ryo has the biggest eyes I’ve ever seen in anime, which is kind of humorous, as well as it really freaks me out. Anyways, that’s beside the point.

The reason why I say “Four stars” is because it’s honest and all, but the time and extras are uncouth. They should save in more extras, kind of like Steel Angel Kurumi. The last episode was about 14 minutes last time I checked. They could have save more trouble into the whole Yuki thing, but not so worthy as to spoil the next episode, “You’re Not Alone, Yuki!”. Either that or the Seira and Coach Kido thing. But then again, it wouldn’t really fit, would it? Haha!
It’s Comic, Good, and has a improbable Heart Taking yarn line. It even inspires other girls to play baseball. (Hey, it did it to me, lol!) The kids will cherish it. It has petite say words, and i assume youngsters can handle engaging beer. I search for no reason why the whole bath scene should be a plight either (No, you don’t sight fifteen year ragged bare breasts) . It’s actually normal in Japan.
I have grievous high hopes for Expansive Slam. It’s awesome so far, tremendous for kids and adults. So why end the last DVD? No excuse is excepted. I know it’ll be mammoth, and the day the sage ends will be devestating (sp? ) . Well, for someone who has a vast obsession for it like me at least! ^_^ There. Enough Said.

This season of B5 is bittersweet for fans, because it was both the best of seasons and the worst of seasons. The best, because it had some of the most attractive moments in the whole B5 canon (the scene where the Liberation Quickly jumps out of hyperspace to Earthspace, with the music reaching it’s height, is indelible) .
The worst because both the shadow war AND the earth war each their conclusion, prematurely, in this season. It is one slam-bang episode after another, as JMS fought was he plan was the fight to drawl the last two seaons in one season – it left the cupboard bare for season five, but it left us with a grand season of TV!
I won’t bother with a show-by-show description of what happens. Others, better estimable than I, will surely do so. But I will fragment what i believe were the highlights of the season:

1. Sheridan’s speech when arriving at earth was extremely well-written and delivered. Though Boxleitner has been called “wooden” in his style, this speech was a vindication for him.
2. The whole thread having to do with Sheridan’s sacrifice on Zha’ha’dum was well-done. Not overplayed by anyone, it unexcited cast a palatable pall over the season, making all choices seemingly minor in comparison.

3. The destroy of the Shadow War was well-handled. It showed that the enemy was not the one most alien in body, but the one most alien in mind, that was the foe. In the kill, we understood the Shadows and Vorlons but never understood Bester or Clark. The faded were beaten by reason, the latter only by force.

4. Tactics, especially those at Proxima Three, were sharp and notable. It is a rare note that present more than honest shooting until one side figures out a dodge to derive against imposible odds. Sheridan’s forces and tactics had this one won from the open – the cost was the only variable.
There are some poorly-done elements. The Shadows and Vorlons are pathetic at the raze. Lorien was a bit TOO deus ex machina for my tastes. Jerry Doyle is a bit too worthy overtaxed by the script, as is Patricia Tallman (both needed a couple of more episodes to invent charactor changes believable) .
However, the season as a whole is handsome. The intro sequence alone is worth the label of admission. This is must-get for B5 fans and TV sci-fi fans alike.
Things are looking dim for our heroes. As this year opens, Garibaldi is missing and Sheridan is missing, presumed lifeless. Even though they are both alive (as we learn from the opening credits), things are shaded. The Vorlons and the Shadows are no longer hiding late allies and have launched a chunky scale war, using the younger races as the targets. Can Sheridan consume what he’s learned to bring a composed destroy to the fighting? Plus there’s the plot on Earth with dictator President Clark. Throw in Garibaldi’s unfamiliar behavior and you’ve got a chubby season that catches your interest and never lets go.
Since JMS didn’t know for distinct if he’d actually acquire season 5, he worked hard to bring major state threads together in season 4. As a result, this year is packed with action and memoir, but there are some incredible character arcs as well. I’ve always found Garibaldi’s to be the most entertaining of the season, but Vir gets some expansive moments early on as well. Londo and G’Kar’s relationship also takes some unexpected turns that are astonishing. I fancy watching that duo at work.
Frankly, this season will always occupy a special status in my heart because it’s when I started watching. Hard for me to hold now, but my first episode was “Into the Fire.” If it weren’t for some very patient friends, I would have been lost, but I managed to stick in there, getting so twisted on the Earth area that I couldn’t end watching. Later, when I’d seen the rest of the present, I realized exactly what I had missed in design of encourage tale. Naturally, I don’t recommend starting here. The method JMS is able to bring station threads together is truly fantastic this season and worth every hour spent watching the first three seasons for the payoff (not that that’s a chore by any stretch of the imagination.) Collected, I’ll always have fond memories of waiting impatiently each week to sight what happens next and the long wait over the summer to leer how they’d choose the mid season cliffhanger.
This DVD region is in perfect keeping with the others that have reach out. Record quality is mostly honorable with the occasional grain or dwelling. A tad distracting, but overall sharper then my video tapes. Sound is extraordinary in burly surround. Again we pick up three commentaries. The cast commentary, featuring Bruce Boxleitner, Jerry Doyle, Peter Jurasik, and Patricia Tallman is captivating if not very informative. (I’ll never ogle at Jerry’s head the same arrangement again, however.) JMS does his usual two commentaries. He’s joined by director Michael Vejar on “Face of the Enemy” for a animated watch at creating that pivotal episode. And he does his usual sharp ogle at “Deconstruction of Falling Stars,” the modern fourth season finale. The special features are rounded out by an introduction on disc 1, a recent documentary on the music of the explain, a fresh suite of music plot against visuals from the season, the usual data and personnel files, and finally a gag reel. I will confess I almost missed this, but it was broad. Makes me wish more then ever that we’d gotten to ogle the gag reels from the previous seasons.
If you’re a fan of this indicate, you must rep this status. It’s worth every penny spent. And if you’ve never seen the indicate, DVD is a fabulous method to ogle this amazing prove. I unprejudiced suggest being smarter then I was and starting with season 1.

So you might bear off on buying this one now until the official word from Warner Home Video comes out. I don’t have a Suggested Retail Mark on this area yet, but chances are you’ll put on buying the four films together in a boxed place. That’s always a better retract than buying any DVD individually. There is no link on this set to this modern area yet, otherwise I would include it.
The Rat Pack Collection is a must for enthusiasts of Franks posse. The three movies amply demonstrate all of the coolness and talent of this astounding cast of heavyweights. If you like Frank, and Dean and Sammie you must bewitch this collection.
